  • My name is Joshua Santiago and I am a licensed therapist who cares deeply about the clientele that I work with. I believe firmly that access to therapy should be available for all. I have a deep desire working with those who have experienced trauma (PTSD) and walking the path of recovery alongside you. Trauma can leave someone feeling defeated and hopeless, but as survivors we can rise to the occasion to bounce back stronger.

  • I have earned my M.S. in counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2021. Having received training during the COVID-19 pandemic, I have honed my Telehealth craft from the beginning and committed to development and improvement. Additionally I have a B.S. in Exceptional Student Education and have a background in working with children with behavioral disorders.

  • I am heavily invested in Telehealth work. I know quality of care may vary depending on zip code. There are a number of barriers to entry for therapy such as access to transportation, scheduling and availability, and personal and family commitments. This passion stems from my own experiences and frustrations with delays in access to care and self-betterment.

I am currently heavily invested in working with clients who have experienced trauma or experiencing great change in their lives or feeling lost.

I have provided services focused on treating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), behavioral disorders, bi-polar disorder (BP-I/BP-II), and stress related to systematic barriers regarding race, gender, and sexuality.

My approach is eclectic with a mixture of different modalities I find beneficial for my clients. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and mindfulness-based practices. I tend to lean into what works for my clients during treatment as my style revolves around their needs and where they want to see themselves.

  • As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I help individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with understanding, authenticity, and hope. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and compassionate space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.

I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Supporting women and families during pregnancy and postpartum is a particular passion of mine. I am dedicated to helping mothers and parents navigate the complex emotional changes that can accompany this season of life, providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for healing, adjustment, and connection.

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused techniques, and Mindfulness, allowing me to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.

I provide therapy through a secure telehealth platform, making it easier for clients to access support from the comfort of their own environment. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and rediscover a sense of balance, confidence, and connection in your life.

  • My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe effective treatment begins with understanding the whole person — not just the symptoms. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused strategies, and Mindfulness techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. For clients experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, I offer a supportive, trauma-informed space to process challenges such as identity shifts, intrusive thoughts, and the emotional adjustments that often accompany pregnancy and postpartum. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.

  • I’m a licensed therapist with training in evidence-based approaches and a warm, collaborative style. Many of my clients are the ones others rely on: the responsible, capable, “strong” ones, yet find themselves feeling anxious, exhausted, or quietly overwhelmed. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, OCD tendencies, or past trauma, I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can begin to untangle what’s weighing you down.

I care deeply about helping people reconnect with their voice, their needs, and their sense of self. I blend clinical expertise with genuine presence so you feel supported while exploring meaningful change.

  • My therapeutic approach is warm, relational, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work collaboratively with you, meeting you where you are and tailoring our work to your unique history, goals, and life context.

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels human, respectful, and paced with care. You won’t find one-size-fits-all solutions here, just an approach that honors your experience and promotes lasting clarity and balance.

In your first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brought you to therapy and what you most hope to achieve. There’s no need to have “the right words” or a clear plan when you start, curiosity and honesty are more than enough.

You can expect a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard and respected. Many clients leave the first session with greater clarity about their challenges, and relief from being genuinely understood. From there, we’ll build a plan together that feels achievable and empowering.
